Their leather is sourced from the UK and Ireland and is only ever a by-product from the meat and dairy industry - it's a material which would otherwise go to landfill and is biodegradable. They have been a plastic-free company since 2019.

The genuine leather is sourced from a family-run Scottish tannery using skins sourced as a by-product from the meat and dairy industry. Each of the bookmarks are made using the traditional technique of hot foil embossing, which ensures a handmade and unique product every time.
