Ark Colour Design makes leather and paper products inspired by color and a sense of fun. Sustainability is important to Ark Colour Design; they source their components from as close to home as they can. Their leather is sourced from the UK and Ireland and is only ever a by-product from the meat and dairy industry - it's a material which would otherwise go to landfill and is biodegradable. They have been a plastic-free company since 2019.
Ark Colour Design has combined a rich matte color for the outline of this leather bookmark, making the foiled details of the flowers shine through. The reverse of the double sided bookmark reads ‘a good weed’. It's made using the traditional technique of hot foil embossing which ensures a handmade and unique product every time. An ideal gift for nature lovers and gardeners. The genuine leather is sourced from a family run Scottish tannery using skins sourced as a by-product from the meat and dairy industry. Embossed and assembled in Scotland. Designed and dispatched from their Cambridge studio.
